I just realized that I never post a darn thing on here.  Since the last post: I did Fall ArtScene at Bennie's Cleaners in Rockford, had a solo show (thank you, Doc & Jerry!) at Kortman Gallery in Rockford, went to the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts in Tampa and won my category! and helped my brother, Bob Blosser, out with moral support while he did his first ArtScene last month.  I'll try to post more about these events later, but a really important thing for me is that I am finding out important information about the art world, what I want from it, and what I think I can offer it.  In the immortal words of G.I. Joe, "Knowing is half the battle".

Spring ArtScene

Yaaay! It's almost here! If you are in or near Rockford, Illinois - please go out and support some artists on Friday, April 15 (5-9p) and Saturday, April 16 (3-9p).

I am so excited to be doing ArtScene for the 2nd time. I have 11 new pieces and some of my old stuff to show and I was lucky enough to get a spot at Bennie's Cleaners again. I'll be on the first floor, so please come by and say hi! Be sure to go upstairs too, where my fabulous uncle, Norm Knott, will be showing off his stuff. His art, I mean... Hope to see you there!

Fall ArtScene in Rockford, Illinois

I had a mad, rad time at my first show this past weekend. As my buddies know, I've been playing around with altered digital images for several years now, but I never really thought the rest of the world could feel the same way about them that I do. Well, I'm pleased to say that apparently others like them too, because I had a lot of great comments and sold several pieces. Thank you to everyone who came out to the show, to the other artists for their help and support, and to Larry and Bennie's Cleaners for hosting the event!
